To St. Andrew Lutheran Church Members & Friends:

In light of the evolving SARS-CoV-2 outbreak in NJ and across the world, St. Andrew Lutheran Church has decided to cancel all meetings and worship services at the church through April 11 (including Sunday Worship services on March 22, 29, April 5), Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday services.  Our annual Easter Egg Hunt (planned for April 4) and the Lenten study (Sundays and Wednesdays) are also cancelled.

We hope to resume Worship services on Easter Sunday, April 12... but will watch the course of the outbreak, consider the advice of public health officials, and communicate about a resumption of church activities.  Given all the travel restrictions and curfews in place - as well as to protect those who worship with us - we feel that cancellation of the church activities during this time is best.

The Children's Circle daycare also plans to close, and the center's Board of Directors and staff are making preparations.

*************************

We ask that you join us in daily prayer during this time - praying both for those infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and for healthcare workers caring for those who are ill.

*************************

There are healthy members of our church community that are ready to assist those in fragile health who should not be out in public during this time. Please let us know of any needs that you have to run important errands, pick-up prescriptions, or grocery shop so that you can remain safely at home and are not out in public spaces during the outbreak.

*************************

Stay safe... and wash those hands thoroughly & often!
